Again, an excellent remastering of a classic. We find here slightly improved sound and special effects, as well as a few extra scenes, most notably in the palace of Jabba the Hut, where the musical number is extended. Another thing done in these special editions is the exercise of computer generated images to make the star fighters swoosh overhead in a way that the previous plastic models could not. This movie leaves you anxiously awaiting the three new Star Wars movies that are supposed to be coming out any year now. |

Summary: Sequels often suck . . . this didn't. | |
And so very nicely wrapped up the story laid out by the prequels. It left me satisfied and with a sense of closure all the while making me jump up in excitement. George Lucas did well with all three. |
